A Quiet Kind of Medicine

Classical Chinese medicine begins with attention. The pulse, the tongue, the pattern beneath the symptom.

Every woman arrives with a story her body has been telling for years. This medicine is built to read it: not a protocol applied to a condition, but care shaped around the person in the room. Nothing rushed, nothing generic.

About Skye

Sixteen years of listening to women's bodies.

Skye Van Munster is a Doctor of Acupuncture with sixteen years of clinical practice, specialising in women's health: fertility, menstrual health, perimenopause, pregnancy, and the postpartum months.

Her training began in Australia with a degree in Chinese medicine, followed by an internship at an integrated hospital in Nanjing, China, working across gynecology, pediatrics, and internal medicine. Her practice today is rooted in the classical texts and shaped by thousands of hours in clinic, known for a gentle, unhurried approach that patients who are nervous about acupuncture are often referred to first.

Areas of Care

Care for every season of a woman's life.

Fertility

Support for natural conception and alongside IVF and other assisted cycles: regulating the cycle, building the ground, and steadying the process.

Menstrual Health

Painful, heavy, irregular, or missing periods, endometriosis, PCOS. The cycle is a monthly report on your health, and it can change.

Perimenopause

Sleep, heat, mood, and cycles in flux. Steady, personal care through a transition that deserves more than being waited out.

Pregnancy & Postpartum

Care through pregnancy, preparation for birth, and true support in the months after, when a mother's own reserves need tending most.

Digestion

IBS, bloating, and chronic digestive complaints. Classical Chinese medicine has always treated digestion as foundational, not incidental, to a woman's health.

Stress & Burnout

The nervous system carries what the calendar doesn't allow for. Support for the exhaustion, tension, and overwhelm that build when there's no room left to rest.
